David Lai studied in the Department of Industrial and
Commercial Design at the National Taiwan University of
Science and Technology.

Lai is now a freelance designer who loves books, music,
and photographs.Lai primarily design for album packaging,
book covers and bindings, the visual performing of arts, etc.

For four consecutive years from 2012 to 2015,
Lai won a Red Dot Design Award of Germany,
and was also nominated for the German iF Design Award,
the independent Music Award for Best Album Design,
the Golden Melody Award for Best Album Design,
the Golden Butterfly Award, etc.

Lai is frequently invited to participate in
exhibitions in Germany,Shanghai, Macau, etc.

熱愛文字和音樂與影像。
目前主要從事唱片包裝設計、
書籍裝幀設計與表演藝術視覺設計等。

2012至2015年連續四度獲德國紅點設計獎。
作品也曾入圍德國iF設計大獎、
全美獨立音樂獎年度唱片設計、
金曲獎最佳專輯設計、金蝶獎、
台灣視覺設計金獎、澳門設計雙年展獎等，
並受邀德國、上海、澳門等地參展。
